We are finally getting the swing of things. Our recent stroke of brilliance was that we took Ethan as our own personal tour guide for the Fayetteville High School open house tonight. We trekked back and forth (and back and forth some more) between the old building and the new building. This kid is a math and science kid AND a performing arts kid-so his classes are all over campus!

After the challenges of “the dark years” (age 13-14.5), I couldn’t be happier with the way Ethan has jumped into activities at the high school and is enjoying his teachers, classes and friends. He even auditioned for the school play! (Fingers crossed!) Yes, he definitely seems to have found his place.

Tonight he seemed to just “come alive” showing us around the school and telling us, in great detail, about the improv skit they did in Forensics today. (Something about chocolate sweat?!?)

Stay tuned… I have a feeling it’s gonna be a great year!
